One of the assignments I did for Colour Theory class. Painting of my brother Kyle using the famous pixel portrait style by Chuck Close.
Chuck Close is recognised for creating large colourful low-resolution grid square portraits giving it a pixelated form from afar.The purpose of the assignment was to study of warm and tint colours pushing out of the painting and dark and shade colours recede to execute a perceived sense of form and depth in the portraits.
Used Acrylic on Canson Bristol Paper
Took about over 15 hours to complete
